Beatrice Jean Kuykendall

Beatrice Jean Kuykendall, 94, of Terre Haute, passed away on January 14, 2021 surrounded by her family. Bea was born on December 4, 1926 in Terre Haute to Arthur Hayden and Myrtle Earhart Hayden. She retired from Union Hospital with many years of service. Bea enjoyed coffee, puzzles, and the St. Louis Cardinals. Family was most important in Bea's life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Eugene Kuykendall; her parents, a daughter, Mary Lou Payton; siblings, Edna Beach, Agnes Wilkes, Minnie Williams, Dorothy Matreci, Raymond Hayden, Earl Hayden, Loretta Hayden. Surviving are her children; David Brent Kuykendall, Joe Allen (Debra Mae) Kuykendall; five grandchildren, Heather (Danny) Jennings, Michelle Payton, Sara (Ben) Chocklett, Kristen (Ian) Hughes, Luke (Jen) Kuykendall; and two great-grandchildren, Alex and Parker Chocklett. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 2 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home, with interment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Veterans Service Organization of your choice.
