Juanita Gail Stephens

Juanita Gail Stephens, 83, of Terre Haute passed away on August 10, 2018 at Meadows Manor East. She was born on April 24, 1935 in Terre Haute to Harry E. and Hila (Brashear) Templeton. Juanita is survived by her son, Jeffrey L. Stephens of Huntsville, AL; daughter, Cathy G. Sanders and husband Rick of Ft. Lee, VA; grandchildren: Samuel R. Sanders and wife Sarah of Spotsylvania, VA; Joel A. Sanders and wife Angelia of Covington, TN; Isaiah J. Sanders and wife Caitlin of Surprise, AZ; Keanan Stephens; Kaden Stephens; Aiden Locklin Jensen; Joshua Sanders; and Crystal Sanders; and great-grandchildren: Gillian Sanders, Arimus Sanders, Annalyse Sanders, Savannah Sanders, Callan Young-Sanders, Jackson Young-Oltman. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Walter Templeton, Sr.; sister, Joy Demeter; and the father of her children, Nelson H. Stephens. Juanita graduated from State High School. She was a member of Terre Haute First Baptist Church. Juanita worked for many years at Union Hospital and later at Baesler’s Market. In her spare time, Juanita enjoyed reading and crocheting. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, August 17 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, at the funeral home.
