Lorene Ann Young

Lorene Ann Young, 84 passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019 in Springhill Village. She was born June 10, 1934 in Terre Haute to John Huffman and Clara [Purdy] Huffman. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard Joseph Young, a son Michael Young, granddaughter Amanda Young, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Lorene is survived by her son Sam Young [Helen]; daughters Elizabeth Schrock and Susan Erickson [Alan]; sister, Betty Sheese; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She retired as a manager with K-Mart. Lorene enjoyed bowling and was always active in her church. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in Mattox and Wood Funeral Home. Services to follow at 1:00 PM Tuesday in the Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Campbell officiating.
