Christopher Alan Atkinson

Christopher Alan "Ratman" Atkinson, 49, passed away on January 18, 2011. Christopher was born on Janauary 23, 1961, in Norfolk, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard J. Atkinson and Catherine Islip Atkinson and a brother, David P. Atkinson. He was an auto mechanic for The City of Suffolk, Fleet Management. He loved riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles. Survivors include a brother, Richard A. Atkinson and his wife, Helen of Virginia Beach, VA; a nephew, David P. Atkinson and a niece, Katie E. Atkinson and his best friends, Dave, Rusty and Yvonne. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, Tuesday, February 8, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Entombment will be private at Rosewood Memorial Park, Chapel of Serenity Mausoleum.
