Gary Lee Cross

Gary Lee Cross, 73, passed away on January 8, 2014. A Virginia Beach native, Gary was a resident of Chesapeake, Virginia. He graduated from Princess Anne High School, Class of 1960. He was a self-employed auto dealer for more than forty years and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Survivors include his loving wife of seventeen years, Jackie Bishop Cross; a sister, Janice Soule and husband John; a daughter, Carlee Battelle and husband, Mike; three step-children, Kelly, Carrie, and Kevin; eight grandchildren and a step-sister, Patricia Bishop. A celebration of Gary’s life will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014, 3:00 p.m. at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
