Trudy was my good friend and neighbor. She touched my life and my heart from the first time we met and we became fast friends. Trudy had such a love of life and laughter and was always so upbeat. We shared a lot of good conversations and yes, the glass of wine. She was my dog walking partner and we would talk about whatever was happening in each other’s lives. She would always stop by and show me her bargains she would find at the thrift stores or tell me about her winnings from the scratch off lottery tickets or her trips to Delaware or Moyock to play the slots. I loved Trudy dearly and there will always be a part of my heart that belongs only to her. Be at peace my dear friend, I will surely miss you!

Gertrude and I formed a bond when I was a young teenager that grew with the years. She always made me laugh with her crazy self. She was always there to give me advice and encourage me to be strong. I will miss our talks. Fly high with my momma Gertrude.

I have so many memories of my dear friend. I can't begin to express how much Trudy meant to me and my family. I am beyond blessed to have had her in our lives. She loved her family, her friends and all of her beloved pets. She was always giving to others and when she did it made her so happy her face would just light up. We shared good conversations and good laughs over many cups of coffee and glasses of wine. I will miss her dearly. I love you Trudy - xoxox until I see you again ❤️
