Obituary of Jacklyn Ellois Kelley
Jacklyn Ellois Bowles Kelley known as Jackie. Jackie was born to Addie Ellois Harvey, Bowles and Daniel Green (Jack) Bowles on July 23, 1938. Both her parents have pre-deceased her. Jackie is survived by her two children, Rebecca Anne Consolazio and Daniel Thomas Bogar, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren; as well as, 3 step-children Chris Kelley and his siblings Cindy and Celeste. Jackie is also survived by her sister, Nancy Bowles and her partner, Patricia Marlo. She is survived by her cousins and their families. Jackie has spent most of her life in Houston, Texas where she had many good friends and lived life to the fullest. Jackie traveled the world throughout her life, loved shot gunning where she won awards, hunted, fished; she even caught a marlin. Jackie loved everything she ever did and did it to the fullest. One of her favorite times of the year was February/March with the kickoff of the Houston rodeo. She loved and sponsored a barbecue cook-off team. Jackie had an accident in 2016 which drastically altered her life, and moved her to Virginia Beach, Virginia. In Virginia Beach for the past 2 years, Jackie was being cared for by her daughter, sister, and sister’s partner. As a child in Houston, she attended All Saints Catholic School then Saint Agnes Academy where she graduated in 1954. On December 23, 2018, Jackie suffered another major stroke and did not recover. Jackie was blessed with many friends and family who will miss her dearly. Services are pending in Houston, Texas. She will be buried at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1101 Antoine Drive, Houston, TX 77055.
