Patricia Anne Gulbrandsen M.D.

Patricia A. Gulbrandsen, M.D., passed away on December 9, 2018. She was born in Bryn Mawr Pennsylvania to Dr. Patrick Boland Hughes and Dr. Anne Gaydosh Hughes. She received her BA from Cornell; Doctorate of Medicine from University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and MPH from Johns Hopkins. She did numerous residencies. She spent two years in England at Chelsey Hospital doing research. She was also recognized as a fellow by the Board of Occupational Medicine. She has been listed in Who's Who in Medicine in the United States. She was married to Dr. Jon Alf Gulbrandsen (deceased). She served in the Army as a Lt Col. in the Medical Corp. Among the varied positions she held include; Medical Director of NSWC W/O Maryland, NASA HQ Greenbelt Maryland and Headquarters FBI Washington DC. She also worked for DIA, DOE and OAS. She was widely traveled in Britain, Europe and Egypt. She resided in Pennsylvania, Arizona, Maryland and finally Virginia.
