Geneva Mae (Grim) Jackson

Mrs. Geneva Mae Grim Jackson, 91, of Weyers Cave died Friday December 28, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Jackson was born September 22, 1927 in New Market, Virginia, a daughter of the late Charles William & Fannie Showns Grim, Sr.

She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Burketown. Geneva spent the last 50 years making little girls happy by making and selling Barbie doll clothes and clothes for 18” dolls.

Surviving are her sisters and brother: Helen Lambert, Bettie Jackson, Shirley Moomaw, Doris Meza, Charles Grim, Jr. and wife, Sharon. Also surviving are her daughter & son-in-law, Galen L. and Angela Jackson Cline of Weyers Cave. Her grandchildren: Stuart, Amanda, and Michael Miller, Danielle Cline Snead, Holly and Jacob Cline. She leaves 21 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was united in marriage January 5, 1952 with Alfred Eudene Jackson who died May 21, 2006. She was also predeceased by her son, Garry A. Jackson, her granddaughter, Teresa Miller Huffman, her daughter, Sandra Jackson Miller, and brothers: Herbert, William, and John Grim.

Family visitation will be Thursday, January 3 from 7-8:30 PM at Lindsey Funeral Home, Weyers Cave. Services will be held Friday, January 4 at 2:30 PM at Lindsey Funeral Home, Weyers Cave. Burial will follow at the Naked Creek Cemetery in Burketown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethany United Methodist Church, (3700 Lee Highway, Weyers Cave, VA 24486) for perpetual care of the Naked Creek Cemetery.
