When I was growing up, there was nothing that thrilled me more than a family trip to Virginia to see my Uncle George and Aunt Shelly and cousins. There was always so much love and laughter!! My Uncle George was an amazing man in many ways and I am truly blessed to have had him as a part of my family. I will never see a PBR or hear CCR without thinking of him and smiling. Until I see you again...๐Ÿ’–

Will love and miss you forever. You've been the best brother in law ever. Jim will need to find another partner in crime for repairs. He will be lost without you.

I met George in June 1966 at DIA. Worked for him in 1970. He was a good Boss. Mentored me and taught me a lot. George, Phil (Air Force Sgt Paulk) and I worked together and had loads of fun fishing. George asked me to do something one day and I gave him a smart answer. He said to me "Otis, do you see this pencil? I said Yes. He said "This pencil writes your work evaluation. I said "Yes Sir Mr. Derosier. Now what was that you wanted me to do? We had fun.

What can I say......George was one of a kind........He always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. I had the pleasure of having George as a Volunteer for almost ten years. He was a wonderful volunteer and friend and will be greatly missed. He volunteered over 1,880 hours during his time with us. His favorite location to volunteer was our Transport Office and I can hear him saying " Just where do all those wheelchairs get to?" "I can't do a good job without the proper equipment" . My prayers go out to the family as you travel through this difficult time.
