Our beloved Nancy Arlene Brennan, 73, of Williamsburg, VA passed away peacefully after a sudden illness of pancreatic cancer, at Williamsburg Hospice House on January 15, 2020. She was born on November 28, 1946, in Shamokin, PA. Nancy is predeceased by her parents, William F Bowman and Elizabeth A. Bowman of Charlottesville, VA.
Nancy was a 1964 graduate of Falls Church High School in Fairfax, VA and then completed a forty year exemplary career as an administrative assistant with the Department of Housing and Urban Development. In addition to her parents, she is recently predeceased by her husband of forty-five years, Jeffrey D. Brennan.
She is survived by her brother and his wife, Bob and Carolyn Bowman of Fairfax, VA and her niece and nephew; Andrea Rogers of Grafton, MA and Derek Bowman of Littleton, CO. She is also survived by her stepson, Todd M. Brennan, and his wife Denise, of McDonough, GA.; a stepdaughter, Christina, of Columbus, Ohio, four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Her graveside service and burial will take place on February 10, 2020, at 10am at Williamsburg Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, personal donations may be made to The Hampton Roads Good Samaritan Fund, PO Box 298, Lanexa, VA 23089. Nancy’s generous heart and loving spirit will be missed by her family and many lifelong friends.
