Obituary of Sybil Ernestine Angel
Sybil Ernestine Angel, 91, of Evansville, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021 at her home. She was born on May 24, 1929 in Muhlenberg, Kentucky to Walter and Josephine (Beadnell) Brumley. She was a member of Washington Avenue Church of Christ; Sybil worked at Wesselmans on North Main Street and was an attendant at the Evansville State Hospital. Her biggest passion was children. Sybil was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 50 years, Bruce Angel; nine sisters and one brother. She is survived by her children, Bruce Angel (Carla), Marcia Orange (Steve), and Claudia Lester; grandchildren, Steven Orange (Michelle), Stephanie Orange-Winegar (Mike), Monica Lassy (Jeremy), Marcia Fortune (Tim), Melissa Menley (Andrew), and Maria King (Scott); and great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Washington Avenue Church of Christ officiated by Stephen Rogers. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit on Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Alexander East Chapel and from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
