Nina Green

Nina Ruth (Pardy) Green, 76, of Snover MI, passed away on April 3, 2021 in Ruther Glen, VA. She was born in Snover, MI to Horatio and Ruth Pardy on September 30, 1944. She went to school at Deckerville Community School. She married Larry Green on July 20, 1963 in Snover, MI. She Graduated from Wayne State University. She worked as a teacher and librarian for Sanilac County MI, Plano TX, and Stafford County VA. She was also very active in Jaycees, local farmers markets, and as a member of her church, Heritage United Methodist Church. Nina is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Green; her father, Horatio Pardy; and her mother, Ruth Pardy. Nina is survived by her daughters, Tina Lauber (Chris), Sarah Smith (Jeff), and Sally Green (Greg Kurtz); her four grandchildren, McKenzie and McKennah Lauber, and Olivia and Jackson Smith. She will also be greatly missed by her three brothers, Jean Pardy (Carolyn), Max Pardy (Mert), and Pete Pardy (Irene) and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be given in Nina's name to Heritage United Methodist Church, 3329 Snover Rd., Snover, MI 48472. Internment will be at the Moore Township Cemetery later this summer. The family of Nina Green wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all of our close family and friends who helped us get through this chapter in our mom’s life. Funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on June 22, 2021 at Marsh Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 12:00pm with a graveside service to follow funeral service.
