Harold J Beer Sr.

Harold J. Beer Sr., 74 of Stafford, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Mary Washington Hospital. He worked as a construction foreman where he retired in 2006 from R.G Griffith. He is survived by his wife Dorothy, four sons, Harold Jr. and his wife Judy, James and his wife Terry, Johnathan N. and his wife B.J., and Jerry and his wife Dawn; four daughters Dreama D. Mayfield, Cheryl L. Gorham, Michelle R. Chaffin and Catherine A. Beer. Two stepdaughters, Mary Ann Decatur and Judy Caruso; six brothers Clive, Walter, Virgil, Howard, Ralph and Elbert, 32 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Orpha Beer, sister, Hazel Cowger, his former wife Wavah Glander and two sons Robert G. Beer, Joseph D. Beer and one stepson, Joseph S. Tucci and 2 great grandchildren The family will receive friends from 7-9pm on Friday, May 28, 2010 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, May 29, 2010, at 10:00 AM., with burial to follow in Stafford Memorial Park.
