Beulah Finney Barbour

Beulah Finney Barbour, 85, of Blue Ridge Manor in Martinsville, died Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Memorial Hospital in Martinsville. She was born in Callands, Virginia on September 1, 1925, to Averette and Eva Fowkles Finney. She was a graduate of Martinsville High School and retired from DuPont as a supervisor where she was employed for 40 years. She was a long-time member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Barbour. She is survived by one daughter, Deborah Robinson of Greensboro, NC; two sons, Donald Barbour of Martinsville and Jerry Barbour of Appomattox; one sister, Jeanette Nester of Martinsville; one brother, Amon Finney of Ridgeway; six grandchildren, Amanda Barbour Johnston, Bradley Barbour, Jonathan Barbour, Katelyn Robinson, Frazier Robinson and Caroline Robinson. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Stephen Greer, the Rev. Ben Barbour and the Rev. Amanda Barbour Johnston officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 P.M. at the church prior to the funeral service.
