Freida Rhea Adams

FRIEDA R. ADAMS (NEE McCRACKEN) Frieda R. Adams (nee McCracken), age 74, of Goodyear, AZ passed away June 2, 2011. Frieda was born on November 5, 1936 in Hopkins County, KY. She moved to East Chicago, IN at the age of five. Frieda worked for Martino Paper and retired with 25 years of service. She married Glenn "Skip" Adams on May 31, 1958 and they were married for 38 years until Skip passed away in 1996. Frieda Moved to Arizona in 2000. She was a member of the Streams Christian Church and volunteered at the Agua Fria Food Bank. Frieda is survived by her sister, Barbara (Ernest) Walters of Goodyear, AZ; brother, Gary McCracken of St. George, UT; sister-in-law, Donna Bradow of Michigan; and eight nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: George and Margie McCracken of East Chicago, IN. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 12:00 noon at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road, (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN with James Sparks, minister, officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Saturday, June 11, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at Kuiper Funeral Home.
