George R. McQuade

George R. McQuade 65, of Indianapolis died May 23, 2012 due to injuries he sustained from an automobile accident. George was born in Indianapolis to Harry and Lucy (Washburn)McQuade. George was a graduate of Cathedral High School and Marion College. He worked as a salesman for Recreation Unlimited for 20 years before retiring in 2011. George was a U.S. Army veteran, receiving 2 Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart during his tour of duty in Vietnam.He is survived by his loving wife, Terri Hiatt McQuade; his mother, Lucy Shuler; daughters, Jennifer (husband Richard) Bray, Jessica (husband Richard) Craig. He is also survived by two brothers, Ira and Sean McQuade; three sisters, Shelly McQuade, Teresa McQuade and Kelly Coulter and four grandchildren.Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., with a Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Spirit Catholic Church at Geist, 10350 Glaser Way, Fishers, IN 46037.
