Kendra Dee Reed

Kendra Dee Reed, 31, born in Bloomington, IN to Paula (Pfaff) Reed and Rodney Reed on October 1, 1980 passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at IU Bloomington Hospice House after a brief battle with cancer. Kendra graduated from Bloomington North High School in 1999. While going to school she worked at Bloomington Hospital. After graduating she was employed at the I U Credit Union. Her last employer was Classic Touch Limousine. Kendra was a loving mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend. She will be deeply missed. Kendra is survived by her daughters, Bronwen Rian and Cecelia Irene of Ellettsville, IN; her parents, Paula Reed of Bloomington and Rodney and Vicki Reed of Alabama; her brothers, Paul D. Reed of Minnesota and Gm2 P. Coty Reed of California; her maternal grandparents, Geneva Pfaff of Bloomington and Ervin Pfaff of Arizona; and her cousin, best friend, and caregiver, Gina Hardin of Terre Haute, IN (Thank you). Kendra is also survived by several aunts and uncles, Jean Taylor of Terre Haute, IN, Lora and James Rogers of Kentucky, Kelly Benham of Bloomington, Marty Temple of Mississippi, Christopher and Debbie East of Bloomington, Steve and Becky Reed of Ellettsville, IN, Gary and Robin Reed of Solsberry, IN, Sharon and Thomas McArtor of Solsberry, IN, Karen and Paul Young of Michigan, and Jeff and Delynn Reed of Solsberry, IN. She is also survived by several cousins and numerous friends. Kendra was preceded in death by her life partner Carl W. Deckard; her paternal grandparents, Paul and Mona Reed; her uncle, John Reed; and cousin, Brittany Rebasky. Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Day Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Unionville Community Cemetery.
