June 28, 1919 – September 28, 2012
Mary Adaline Anderson of Bloomington, passed away on September 28, 2012 in the Residence at McCormick Creek in Spencer, IN. She was born in Monroe County, IN to the late Thomas and Lydia(Stevens)Baugh.
Adaline drove a school bus for MCCSC for 35 years and also was involved with farming and the Anderson family business.
She was a 50 year plus member of the New Prospect Baptist Church, Rebecah Lodge and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Adaline is survived by her son and daughter-in-law; Rodney and Nancy Anderson, grandchildren; Windy and Art Howard, Shanna and Nate Oliver, Alisica Hubbard, Amanda and Taris Macklin, Pam and Ron Belden, Mac Jordan and Brad Jordan. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, plus numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband James Paul ”Doc” Anderson, brother Carl Rodney Baugh, daughter; Janet Sue Bock and son; Thomas “Pete” Anderson.
Friends may call on Monday, October 1, 2012 from 2- 8 p.m. in Day Funeral Home 4150 E. Third St, Bloomington, IN 47401. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. also in the funeral home. The Rev. Myron Young officiating. Burial will be in Payne Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Salvation Army or New Prospect Baptist Church.
