Helen Ann Hull Adams, 76, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus Sunday morning, October 21, 2012. ALS may have taken her physical abilities from her, but it did not take her kind heart, pleasant spirit or hope for the future in the Lord. She died at home in Greensboro, NC where she had moved in April 2011 to be near her daughter. Together they cared for their blended family of six children and welcomed many other children and pets into their home. Helen and Emil were members of First Christian Church, Evansville, for many years. They served as youth sponsors went on mission trips and Helen was President of the Women’s Christian Ministries for several years. She faithfully participated in the choir and prayer ministries and ministered to many through her compassionate and generous heart. She and Emil traveled the USA and Canada via motorcycle with friends from the Southern Indiana Motorcycle Association. Her travels were always well documented by her ever present camera! They were active members of the Greyhound Pets of America, attending many parades and events with their pampered pet greyhounds, April and Bobbi.
