David B. "Red" Sinnigen
August 2, 1941 – November 7, 2012

David Bernard "Red" Sinnigen, 71, passed on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012 and was reunited with his parents, brother-in-law, Del; niece, Michelle; and nephew, Del in Heaven. Born in Arcola, Ind. where he lived a short time before finding his extended family within the Fort Wayne State School, currently Easter Seals Arc. He will be remembered always by his family and friends at Arc for his infectious smile and boisterous laugh. He was an active participant on the bowling league at Arc until the onset of his acute illness. "We will always be indebted to the staff and clients at Arc who truly loved and cared for him for so many years, there are not enough words to express our deepest gratitude and appreciation for all you have done and continue to do." David was always "Uncle Bus" to the family surviving at home - sisters, Shirley (Charley) Young and Troas Burget; neice Treasa (Wayne) Linnemeier; one aunt, Marietta Stanski; one great niece, five great-nephews, and four great-great-nephews, all of Allen County, Ind. Red is also survived by 100's of friends and family at Easter Seals Arc. A celebration of David's life is at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, 2012 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, Ind., with visitation starting at noon. He will then join his parents for eternity at St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, Arcola, Ind., with a private burial. Family requests all memorials to Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, 5910 Homestead Road, Fort Wayne.
