Beatrice Rachel Smith

Beatrice Rachel Smith, 92, of Bloomington, passed away Friday, January 4, 1012. Beatrice was born on July 28, 1920 in Lawrence County, Indiana to the late Dorothy May (Lawyer) Vaughn and Mr. Roscoe Vaughn. Beatrice enjoyed flowers, quilting and attending church. She was a faithful member of Sanders Pentecostal Church in Bloomington for many years. Beatrice is survived by Two Daughters; Donnia Humphrey Freeman (Junior), Loettea Humphrey Rush (Donald); One Step-Daughter, Linda Williams; Seven Grandchildren, Jim Watson, Shanta Grubb, Tonya Teagarden, Douglas Watson, Deborah Rush, Litishia Skatrud, Rachell Robertson; Ten Great Grandchildren; Five Great Great Grandchildren; Six Step Great Grandchildren; Twelve Step Great Great Grandchildren and Ex-Husband; Mr. Mac Manion. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Winfred Smith, Three Step Sons, and her Parents. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, January 7, 2013 at Sanders Pentecostal Church. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions may be made to The Building Fund at Sanders Pentecostal Church or to the Indiana University Hospice of Bloomington.
