GENE A. WARWICK, 93, of Fort Wayne, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, at Parkview Hospital. Born Oct. 10, 1919, in Toledo, Ohio, he was a WWII Navy Veteran. He retired in 1983 from G.E. after 41 years of service. He was a member of St. Albans Episcopal Church and American Contact Bridge League. Surviving are daughters, Sarah (Max) Ault of Butler, Ind. and Susan (William) Hensley of Greenfield, Ind.; daughter-in-law, Catherine Warwick of Sacramento, Calif.; grand-daughters, Abigail Radovanovich and Barbara Warwick-Swartzbaugh; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty in 2007; and son, William in 2012. Service is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013 at St. Albans Episcopal Church, 7305 St. Joe Road with visitation from 9 a.m. until time of service. Rev. Daniel K. Layden officiating. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens. Memorials to Fort Wayne Humane Shelter or S.P.C.A. Food Fund. Arrangements by Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home.
