Alberta M. Phillips Vorndran

ALBERTA M. VORNDRAN, 78, of Fort Wayne, passed away, Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. She was born in Marshall County, Ind. on Oct. 8, 1934 and was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. Surviving are her daughters, Vicki (Lenny) Yearling of Fort Wayne, and Brenda (Robert) Horn of Fort Wayne; sons, Michael (Jane) Vorndran of Hoagland, Andrew Vorndran of Crown Point, John Vorndran of Fort Wayne, and Kenneth (Theresa) Vorndran of Fort Wayne; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Esther Hazelet of Fort Wayne, Beverly (James) Bonar of Winter Park, Fla., and Judy Phillips of Fort Wayne; brother, Louis (Rebecca) Phillips of Dewey, Ariz. Preceded in death by her husband, James who died in 1999; and her parents, Glenn and Lois Phillips. Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Rd. Rev. David Harrold officiating. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery. Memorials to Calvary United Methodist Church.
