Maggie E. Adams Anderson

Maggie E. Anderson, age 93, of Bloomington, died Wednesday afternoon at I. U. Health; Hospice House. Born November 16, 1919 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of William and Addie (Hendrickson) Adams. She was a life-long resident of the Bloomington area, a very active member of the New Prospect Baptist Church in Dolan and the Dolan Doers. She loved to quilt and was a very loving mother, grandmother and mother-in-law. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Linda Anderson; her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and David Williams, all of Bloomington, three grandchildren, Jeri (Keith) Hall, Justin (Melissa) Williams and Ryan Williams, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul R. Anderson on October 8, 1992 and her daughter-in-law, Donna Sue Anderson. The funeral service will be held on Monday at 10:00 A.M. at Day Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributions be given to I.U. Health; Bloomington Hospice.
