Duane Oliver Jackson

Of Sterling, VA, on December 22, at the age of 54. Beloved son of Edward Jackson, Sr. and the late Ruby Jackson; brother of Yvonne Jackson, Edward "Ted" (Lisa) Jackson, Jr., and Kenneth (Luciana) Jackson; and uncle of Lauren Viohl, Daria Jackson, Darius Jackson, Kathrin Sami, Kelly Sami, and Francesca Jackson. Duane was born on Wiesbaden Air Force Base (Germany) November 13, 1963. He was a graduate of Hampton University and a 23 year employee of AT&T. He was an avid motorcyclist, you would find him riding his Harley Davidsons with friends whenever possible. Friends welcome on Friday, January 5 from 4-8 pm at Demaine Funeral Home, Springfield. A service to celebrate Duane's life will begin at 11 am on Saturday, January 6 at St. Matthews United Methodist Church, Annandale. Interment to follow at Pleasant Valley Memorial Park, Annandale. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Duane's memory to the charity of your choice.
