Carlton Theodore Goodwin

Virginia Beach - Carlton Theodore Goodwin passed away peacefully in his home on the morning of Jan. 23, 2018. He was a loving husband and a wonderful father to his children, Carlton, Theresa, Deborah, Michael, Mark, Matthew, Cara, Jaimie and Peter. He was also survived by his brother, Jack Goodwin and an amazing number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Carlton was a man of deep faith, an architect, a family man, and a friend to those around him. He was known as Papa Goodwin to those close to his children and Mr. Wonderful to everyone else. He absolutely loved people and laughter and was a favorite among many for his witty and fresh sense of humor. He is now celebrating in heaven with his wife Jane, and will truly be missed. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, Jan. 28th, 2 p.m., at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. in the funeral home prior to the service.
