Henry Wilson Addington, 95, of Richmond, passed away on May 6, 2018. He was preceded in death by spouse, Charlotte Addington. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the Pacific. He was a well-known pharmacist and was the president of both the Virginia Pharmaceutical Association and the Richmond Pharmaceutical Association- '82 to '83. The Henry Addington Medal was established to be distributed each year to a deserving pharmacy student. He also established a scholarship fund for a pharmacy student each year at VCU MCV. Pharmacy was his passion in life. Henry is survived by his daughter, Paige Addington McGhee; grandson, John K. Wynne III; two sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Woody Funeral Home-Huguenot Chapel, on Tuesday, May 8, from 5 to 7 p.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Addington Scholarship fund at VCU Alumni, P.O. Box 842039, Richmond, Va. 23284-2039.
