Mildred Elaine Ferrell

FERRELL, Mildred Elaine, 82, went with our Lord on May 11, 2018 in Ashland, VA. Mildred was born in Amelia, VA, to Reed Lawson & Hattie Merchant Lawson on Oct. 15, 1935 and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Carl Ferrell Sr. & James A.B. Jordan (Father of their children). Mildred is survived her sister, Jerry Cox; her children, Millie Daniel (Glen), Margaret Higgins (Tim), Betty Cronk (Rusty), & Ricky Lawson (Julie); her grandchildren, James Daniel (Denise), Bryan Daniel (Sarah), Brad Higgins (Crystal), Jordan Walthall (Michael), & Dayna Higgins; & her 9 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Nelson Funeral Home,4650 Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23231 for friends and family, Monday 5/14, from 5-8 pm. A Grave Side Memorial Service will be held at Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, 6217 Memorial Drive, Sandston, VA 23150. Wednesday, 5/16, at 1 pm.
