CAPPETTA, Frank G., 56, of Henrico, passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank J. and Sylvia L. Cappetta; sister, Florence Nickleson; and brother, Donnie Cappetta. Frank worked for 24 years in the radio remote control industry, most recently as Vice President, Sales and Technology and served in the U.S. Navy as a submarine sailor. He enjoyed spending time outside, whether that be playing in the yard with his dogs, Molly and Sophie, doing yard work or boating out on the water. Frank was also an accomplished builder. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 18 years, Beth Cappetta; daughters, Heather Patterson (Faraji Wilson) and Ashleigh Gallo (Andy); grandchildren, Alycia, Abigail, Brice, Lilly, Aubrey, James and Henry; siblings, Liisa Westen (Marvin), Robert Cappetta and Anthony Cappetta (Lynn); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 19, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, with a funeral service at 3 p.m. Frank was a relaxed person. Please come casual. Flip flops welcome. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your local S.P.C.A.
