Esther Silvino Harris

Esther Silvino Harris, 79, passed away on May 12, 2018. She was born in the Philippines to the late Matias Silvino and Francisca Pia. Esther loved to read and write letters, read her bible daily, and most of all she enjoyed taking care of her grandbabies that she so lovingly adored. Esther was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Sandbridge. She was the most adorable, kind, friendly woman who loved everyone and everyone loved her. She was predeceased by her husband of 25 years, Alonzo Harris, Sr; stepsons Mitchell and Michael Harris; stepdaughter Kim Clemmons; 1 brother and 4 sisters.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Mari Washington (Sterling); son Alonzo Harris, Jr. (Mary); stepsons Joseph and Markal Harris; stepdaughters Kay Dumas and Mary Alice Gay; sister Mary Saya; 6 grandchildren, Jacqueline, Dominique, Sterling, Khristophor, Cameron and Riley; and 1 nephew Charles Sigwaben.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2397 Newstead Dr, Virginia Beach with a visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
