Obituary of Ronald "Ron" E. Busch
Ronald “Ron” E. Busch, 64, of Fort Wayne, passed away on May 24, 2018. He was born to the late Richard and Lucille (Hoeppner) Busch Sr. on February 8, 1954, in Fort Wayne. Ron loved to spend time with his family. He was a true family man who brought everyone together with his love and enthusiasm. His hobbies included writing, ham radio, watching college athletics, and working on household projects. He made sure to teach his children how to fix things so that one day they could take care of their own homes. He loved to make people laugh with his jokes and inspire people with his words and prayers. In the last few years of his life, Ron accomplished his longtime goal of writing professionally by contributing to Today's Catholic. He also finally restored his grandfather's tractor and was able to take his granddaughter for rides. He was an Academic Advisor at Ivy Tech. Ron is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lois Busch; daughter, Virginia Busch; son, Andrew (Shea) Busch; granddaughter, Clara Sue Busch; siblings, Sandra (Randy) Simmons, Rich (Mary) Busch Jr., Sherran (Jay) DeArmond, and Sonya (Tim) Smith; and a host of nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Smith.
