Robey Scott Mills

Robey Scott Mills, 53, of Fredericksburg passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018. Robey loved the Dallas Cowboys, Nascar, bluegrass music and the Longwood Lancers. He is survived by his daughters, Jenna Marie Mills, Katelyn Sabra Marie McMillen, and Chelsea Elizabeth Deshazo whom he loved as his own; one granddaughter, Mikanszee Johnson whom he adored; three brothers, Donald Heflin (Pam), Michael Cockrill (Gale) and Russell Cockrill (Sheila); several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; his dog Uzi, and his best friend, Shorty. Robey never met a stranger and because of that he leaves behind countless friends and extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas E. “Tommy” Mills; his mother, Olive M. “Sis” Mills; his brother, Thomas “Tommy” Mills, and his sister, Anne Mills. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, June 23 at White Oak Rescue Squad, 535 White Oak Rd. in Fredericksburg. Life is precious from the first breath to the last. “I am the light of the world whoever follows me will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life” John 8:12.
