Blesilda “Blessie” Gandeza Dulay, 78, passed away in Chesapeake on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. She was a native of the Philippines. Blessie graduated from Philippines Normal College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and later became an elementary school teacher. After moving to the United States she worked various management jobs and worked in retail. She loved cooking and spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Blessie is survived by her husband, Fidelino Dulay; son, Edwin G. Dulay; daughters, Rowena Dulay Campbell and husband, Walter and Elma Dulay Brein and husband, Jonathan; grandchildren, Edwin Taylor Dulay, Ryann Campbell, Matthew Campbell, Hannah Brein and Ashley Brein.
A visitation will be from 6-8pm, Friday, July 6, 2018 at Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 10am, Saturday in the Rosewood Kellum Funeral Home chapel with burial to follow immediately at Rosewood Memorial Park. There will be a reception to follow the services at the funeral home. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.kellumfuneralhome.com.
