Alice Marie Carr, 82, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on July 10, 2018. Alice was born November 18, 1935 in Rensselaer to Minnie and Merle Hammond. She has been the loving wife to James Carr since November 16, 1973. She is survived by her husband, James Carr of Rensselaer, IN, sister Arlene Coley (husband Jimmy) of Rensselaer, IN, brother Bud Hammond (wife Mary) of Rensselaer, IN, Son Michael Madison (wife Melodee) of Lakeland, FL, daughter Debby Estrada (husband Eddie) of Valparaiso, IN, daughter Kathy Trzepacz (husband Larry) of Portage, IN, step-daughters Jamie, Tammy and Lisa, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Alice was a selfless and amazing Mom, Grandma, and Great Grandma. She will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 12:00 pm until the time of her funeral at 2:00 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Ave.; Crown Point, IN 46307). Burial will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. To leave online condolences, please visit www.chapellawnfunerals.com
