Terry Lynn Barbara age 30 yrs of Hobart, IN passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 13, 2018. Loving daughter of James Barbara of Highland, IN & the late Tricia (Newland) Barbara of Griffith, IN. Terry was born on October 10, 1987 in East Chicago, IN. She is survived by her Father, James Barbara & his fiancee', Amy Siver who reside in Highland & her beloved Aunt Sheri (Newland) Gonzales & Ben Gonzales with Uncle Scott Newland all of Hobart, IN. Rick & Samantha Newland of Alabama, Aunt Stefanie Davis of Crown Point, Uncle Jeremy & Aunt Jennie (Miller) Gilbert of Merrillville & Aunt Heather Campbell of Mishawaka, IN. Grandparents, Adora (Rex) & Michael Marchi of Portage, IN. Also, Grandparents residing in Florida, Bill & Betty Barbara. Several Great Aunts & Great Uncles with several cousins & other extended family members & of course numerous much loved friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Tricia, grandparents Richard & Patricia Newland, Aunt Beth Newland & Uncle Bob Newland of Griffith. Also, her childhood Old English Sheepdog, Shane & precious Bijon puppy, Casper whom she loved dearly. Those who knew Terry knew she loved her country music, especially Luke Bryan, Billy Ray Cyrus, Terri Clark, Reba McIntyre, Leann Rimes & N'Sync. She enjoyed watching movies on Netflix, playing on her IPad & enjoying the company & love of all her many friends, past & most recent nurses & doctors. She loved going to concerts & enjoyed working on word search puzzles & latch hook rugs. In the past she loved to spend time camping at a Plymouth campground with her Grandparents: Pat & Dick. When her health allowed she was a past student in the Griffith School System. Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 18th at Kuiper Funeral Home Chapel at 9039 Kleinman Road just south of Ridge Road in Highland, IN starting from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the evening for those that would like to attend. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Kris Graunke of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church officiating at the Kuiper Funeral Chapel. She will be laid to rest next to her Mother, Tricia & Grandparents, Pat & Dick Newland in Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond, IN immediately following the above mentioned memorial services.
