Madeline Elizabeth Dulaney

Madeline Elizabeth Dulaney, 90, of Keezletown passed away at her home on Tuesday, November 20, 2018. She was born on May 13, 1928 in Washington, DC and was the daughter of the late Hurtha Ira and Mary Elizabeth Johnson Dulaney. Madeline was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with all of her family, crafting, reading and was an avid Washington Redskins fan. She is survived by a daughter, Sandra E. Shipe and husband, Joseph, of Keezletown, a son, Harry Davis of Staunton, daughter, Francie Davis and boyfriend, Thomas Montgomery, of Delaware, a daughter, Sherri Stanhope and husband, Alan, of Tennessee; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother, George Dulaney of Waynesboro; a sister, Ella Ferrell of Maryland; and her dog Frisky. She was preceded in death by a son, James Davis and her life companion, John Rice. Honoring her wishes, she will be cremated and a service will be announced at a later date.
