Reginald "Reggie" Herman Beasley, Jr.

Reginald "Reggie" Herman Beasley, Jr., 76, of Mechanicsville, passed away on Monday, December 24, 2018. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles L. Beasley. Reggie retired from VDOT after 46 years of service and was a 25 year veteran of the Boy Scouts of America. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 54 years, Carolyn "Susie" L. Beasley; children, Catherine "Cathy" Lee (Marc), Reginald Lee Beasley, Sr., and Robert "Robbie" E. Beasley; grandchildren, Jordan Nicole Beasley, Aiden Jarett Beasley, and Reginald "R.J." Lee Beasley, Jr.; and siblings, Claude R. Beasley (Judy), Richard E. Beasley (Vicki), and Vivian B. Underwood (Lanty). The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 2, from 2 to 8 p.m. at Woody Funeral Home - Atlee Chapel, 9271 Shady Grove Rd., Mechanicsville, Va. 23116, where a funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 3, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
