Clara Mae Knight

Clara Mae Knight (nee Justice), age 92, of Hammond, IN passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019. She is survived by her four children: Jeff (Shelby) Knight, Nathan Knight, Sonnie (Chad) Troyer and Brandy (Chan) Wiersema; six grandchildren: Rebecca (Greg) Butler, Joshua (Britany) Mulhern, Kaitlin Fisher, Abigail Wiersema, Lilah Wiersema and Benjamin Wiersema; five great grandchildren; sister Gladys Long; and numerous nieces and nephews. Clare was preceded in death by her husband Jeff Knight; and two sons: David & Edwin Knight. Friends are invited to meet with the family Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (time of service) at Kuiper Funeral Home , 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN. A Celebration of Life service will follow Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memory Lane Memorial Park, Crown Point, IN. Clara was a former member of the Terrace Park Church of God in Hammond, IN. She enjoyed quilting, walking and cooking.
