Gloria A. Jackson

Gloria A (Ort) Jackson, 78, of Fort Wayne, passed away on January 16, 2019, in West Palm, Florida. Born on October 9, 1940, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Donna and Joe Ort. She was a nurse at Byron Health Center, and Riverview Care Center. Gloria was a wonderful wife of 62 years, to her surviving husband, Paul S Jackson; and a loving mother to her six children, Jacquelyn M Jackson, Thomas D Jackson, Maxine E Jackson, Paul S Jackson II, Bryon R Jackson, and Michael P Jackson. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. “May God bless you Mama, and may you rest in Peace”, you are truly loved, and as Gloria would reply back “I Love You More”. Funeral service will be 1pm, Thursday, January 24, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling from 11am, until time of service. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
