Pauline Marie Berger

Pauline “Marie” Berger, age 69 of Madison Heights, widow of Robert H. Berger, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019. She was born in Dante, Virginia on May 19, 1949, daughter of the late Joseph and Fronia Ramsey. She will be welcomed into Heaven by her husband and parents as well as her step father, Ed Hall; sisters, Minnie Digiovanni and Mildred Miller and a brother, J.D. Ramsey. Marie was a retired cashier who loved house plants, crossword puzzles, Karaoke and the sea shore. She is survived by her daughters, Tina LeValley (Duncan Massie) and Bonnie LeValley Spencer (Mike Miller); son, Robert “Bobby” LeValley (Desiree); brother, Gene Ramsey; sisters, Mary Ruth Combs, Betty Duncan, Margaret Bradley, Stella Long and Linda Trent; grandchildren, Elizabeth Spencer and Chelsey Stanley; great grandchildren, Joshua LeValley, Makayla LeValley, Makenzie LeValley, Olivia Horsley, and Jayden Rucker. She is also survived by a special friend, Melvin “Doc” Franklin as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Whitten Monelison Chapel. A private memorial service for the family will be held at a later date.
