Maxine Mulkey Stone

Mrs. Maxine Mulkey Stone, age 85 of Collinsville, VA., passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2019. She was born on August 4, 1933 in Salem, VA. to O.D. Mulkey and Mary Addie Blackwell Mulkey. She was employed by Kmart for many years. She was of the Methodist Faith. Mrs. Stone was predeceased by her parents, three brothers, Oscar Mulkey, Horace Mulkey, John “Pete” Mulkey, one grandson, Bryce Walker and Adron O’dell Stone. Mrs. Stone is survived by three daughters, Debbie S. Walker and husband, J.D., Kathy S. Draper and husband, Pete, Sharon G. Stone, one granddaughter, Ashley Stone, three grandsons, Tony Walker, Derek Walker, Lucas Draper, one great-granddaughter, Callie Grace Zook and three great-grandsons, Travis Walker, Nash Walker and Devin Walker. Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eddie Hawks and Brother J.D. Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and at other times at the residence.
