Melvin Lee Ramer

Melvin Lee Ramer, age 87, of Greensburg, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2019. He was born November 17, 1931 to and Millard and Jewel Bate Ramer. Melvin was a 1949 graduate of Greensburg High School. He was a United States Army Veteran and served during the Korean War. He married Mary Ann Schneider on January 3, 1981; she preceded him in death on October 4, 2015. Melvin retired from Cummins and was a lifetime farmer. Melvin is survived by; friend, Theodore Redel man; sister, Loretta Colson and sister-in-law, Jere Ramer; several nieces and nephews. Melvin was preceded in death by: his wife, Mary Ann Ramer; father, Millard Ramer; mother, Jewel Ramer; brother, Kenny Ramer. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, March 1, 2019 from 12:00 pm until the time of the Funeral at 1:00 pm all at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. Rev. Mark Vice will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery, Millhousen, Indiana.
