Reginald E. Blanch 54, of Georgia passed away March 25, 2019 at his home in Stafford, Va. He is survived by three children, Cori Blanch, Cameron Blanch (Alyxz), and Devin Blanch.
Reginald will also be greatly missed by his six grandchildren, Corinne, Michael, Reggie, Wesley, Declyn, and "Pobby".
Mr. Blanch leaves behind his brother and five sisters, Sabrina Dennis (Lester), Albert Blanch Jr. (Vickki), Harriett Stephens, Lisa Blanch Cross (Kervin), Renee Blanch-Haley, and Dorothy Wilcher (George).
He is proceeded in death by his father Albert Blanch Sr. He is survived by his mother Kate Blanch.
Mr. Blanch proudly served 7 years in the United States Army where he earned several awards including the National Defense Ribbon, Southwest Asia Medal with two Bronze Service Stars, Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal and Army Achievement Medal.
Reggie also qualified as an Expert in small arms weapons. He was selected to attend the Army’s Non-Commissioned Officer Primary Leadership Development Course. These skills and experiences led to a successful career in Federal Contracting where he played an indispensable role for the creation of government systems that had not previously been conceived, and directly supported key figures of the United States Government. Mr. Blanch was known by his family, friends, and peers as generous, a leader, a jokester, and above all dedicated to work, friends and family. He has influenced the course of many lives for the better and will be missed.
A celebration of life will be at 11:00am on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service Stafford chapel, with a visitation an hour prior.
