Morris Franklin Leake

Leake, Morris Franklin, 91, of Glen Allen, went to be with the Lord on April 29, 2019 where he joined his parents, Sherwood and Cora; and siblings, Irma, Marion, Clarence, Virginia, and his twin brother Norris. He is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years LaVerne; three sons, David, Dale (Sheila), and Douglas; two grandchildren, Carter and Cooper; sister-in-law, Nora Jane Leake; nieces, Wynne Fleshman, Doris Tignor, Linda Hudson, Alice Jane Corle; and nephews, Richard Leake and Eddie Leake. Morris retired from Ford after 35 years of service. He was a friend to all and enjoyed playing the piano, gardening, working in his yard, and anything that involved working with his hands. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 21 from 1pm to 2pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, Va 23231. Services will begin at 2pm with interment to follow in Washington Memorial Park.
