Obituary of Brenda Pierce-Ince
Brenda Jean Pierce-Ince 68, was called home on July 2, 2019 at her daughters’ home in Stafford, Virginia surrounded by her children and grandchildren after a brief struggle with cancer. Brenda was born April 4, 1951, in Richmond Virginia, the daughter of Irene Leadbetter and Alfred “Duck” Cary. Brenda attended Virginia Randolph High School, before attending Virginia School of Nursing, where she received a certificate for Licensed Practical Nurse (1969), Virginia School of Insurance for License Insurance Agent (1971) and Fashion, Merchandise and Design (1991). Family and friends were Brenda’s heart and passion. Brenda is survived by her husband Paul Ince; her seven children, Nicole Horton (Preston), Sharonda Pierce, Benjamin Pierce (Robin), Alesha Pierce (Brian), Micah Pierce (Marie), Angela Harris (James) and Brandy Jordan (Tim), her thirty-four grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren; her siblings Jewel “Sweetsie” Granderson, Viola “Sally” Williams, Shirley “Bootsie” Douglas, William “Billy” Cary, Doris “Princess” Smith, Sylvia “Tiny” Bailey and John “Kenny” Adams. She leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends. Brenda’s daily inspirational morning text will be missed by all that had the honor of receiving it. Her cooking will be missed by everyone who had the opportunity to taste it. But her love will live on within all of us that she touched, and she will continue to be a light to guide us. Brenda requested cremation and a dinner be held in her honor. A representative from Brenda’s family will contact family and friends with the date and time. The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her illness. Your support did not go unrecognized. “God, we realize that times and people have changed, but your love for us will never change and we need to be more like you. God give us guidance, love and peace. God please keep our hearts and minds warm with your love. God we are trusting in you for our knowledge in these times and not to lose our faith or waiver” – by Brenda Pierce-Ince
