Dottie Jo Drennan

Dottie Jo Drennan, 85, of Newburgh, IN passed away Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Signature Healthcare. She was born in Dycusburg, KY on May 3, 1934 to Archibald Elisha and Lillian (Peek) Kemper. Dottie went to high school in Crittenden County, Kentucky, graduated in 1952, and was engaged in 1953. She was an active member of Gateway Baptist Church. Dottie enjoyed cooking, spending time with her children and especially thrilled to spend time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Drennan of 52 years; son, Kevin Drennan; sisters, Sarah Alfreda Kemper and Dorothy L. Kemper; and brothers, Billie and Joe Kemper. Dottie is survived by her son, Michael Drennan (Debbie); daughter-in-law, Laura Drennan; step granddaughter, Camela Birdwell; and grandsons, Jonathan and Christopher Drennan. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 19, 2019 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, officiated by Rev. Terry Gamblin, with burial in Sugar Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit Friday from 8:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
