Sharon Ann (Smith) McGhee

Sharon Ann (Smith) McGhee, 59, of Waynesboro passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Augusta Health. Born March 8, 1960 in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Smith and Phyllis (Beard) Daves. Sharon was a member of SherLynd Baptist Church. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Walmart where she worked as a customer service manager. Survivors include her loving husband of 42 years, Larry McGhee; daughter, Renee Adkins of Waynesboro; two grandchildren, Randall Wayne “Trey” Adkins, III and Stormy Norea Adkins; her twin sister, Karon Faircloth of Sherando; sister, Vicki Whitlock of Stuarts Draft; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 W. Main St., Waynesboro. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Augusta Memorial Park, 1775 Goose Creek Road, Waynesboro with Pastor Allen George officiating.
