Obituary of Suzanne Boldt Johnson
Suzanne Boldt Johnson, 86, of Bloomington, IN formerly of Evansville, IN went to be with her Lord on Monday, December 23, 2019. She was born February 6, 1933 in Emporia, Kansas the daughter of the late William and Lucile Boldt. Her mother passed away at a young age and the mom she knew best was the late Eleanor Boldt. Sue lived out her faith in Jesus for much of her life in the United Methodist Church. She was a Registered Nurse and graduated from Northwestern University, where she met her beloved husband of over 64 years Charles W. Johnson (Chuck). They spent the past 3 years at Redbud Retirement Community where they were blessed with many friends and a wonderful home. Sue's passion was her family. When they weren't visiting, she loved to keep up with her kids, grandkids and most recently great grandkids lives by phone and with her iPad. She also kept in touch with her dear friends by computer, phone and mail. Sue is survived by her husband Chuck; her daughter, Martha Agee (husband J.) of Castle Rock, CO; her two sons, David Johnson (wife Kim) of Bloomington, IN and Robert Johnson (wife Meg) of Nashville, TN; eight grandchildren, John Agee (Céline), Sarah Turner (Steven), Rebecca Prensner (Matt), Stephen Agee, Joshua Johnson, Aaron Johnson, Elisabeth Johnson (Matthew Dohoney), and Shoshanna Johnson; and two great grandchildren, Katelyn Turner and Luka Charles Agee. Family and close friends will celebrate Sue's life at 11 AM Saturday January 18, 2020 at Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home in Bloomington, IN, officiated by Pastor Doug Schroeder. Prior to the service, the family will receive friends from 10 AM to 11 AM at the funeral home. Memorial gifts may be made to the Methodist Temple Children's Ministries (methodisttemple.com).
