Glen Harris

Glen Harris, 88, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Bethel Pointe in Muncie, Indiana. Glen was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on Sunday, November 1, 1931, the son of Jesse Harris and Verna (Caudill) Harris. He moved to Muncie, Indiana in 1955. Glen married Virginia Bates on April 21, 1962 and they were married thirty years until her passing. He worked for Delco Remy in Anderson for thirty years until his retirement. Glen enjoyed horseracing, gambling at casinos, and was proud to be a contestant on the Hoosier Millionaire. He also enjoyed camping and fishing. Glen loved tinkering in the garage and playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include daughter, Joyce Patterson; grandchildren, Andrew (fiance' Kristi) Bennett and Brittany (husband, Steve) Nipper; and great-grandchildren, Treyton Bennett, Zandon Nipper, and Andrew Scott Bennett Jr. “Baby Andy”. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Verna Harris; wife, Virginia; sisters, Ann Harris, Elsie Kissick, and "Ti" Harris; and brothers, Gene Kissick and Billy Kissick.
